Status Codes and Groups
If you want to be able to organize work flow based on what stage each case is at, or quickly report to a client on progress of each case, create a status code for each stage. When you action a case, you can have the action wizard change the status automatically. This makes reporting and work flow management much more accurate and efficient.

Status codes are for indicating the current status of a case. This allows you to easily report on cases at a certain status or stage of the collection process.
They can be assigned from within an action by selecting it from the command field as shown below.
Status Codes can also be assigned within the Case Manager from the shortcut field (ST) as shown below.
Alternatively the status can be updated while adding a new note to a case in the Case Manager. Click “Notate” on the Action Bar and select your status from the list.
Creating a new Status
A status code must be unique. Enter your new status code in the "Code" field.
IMPORTANT: The code should not contain any spaces or characters other than letters or numbers; except a full stop.
Describe the status in the field labeled “Description”.
Select a status group.
A status can be defined as collectable or not collectable is so desired, by selecting this sub-status where indicated.
Enter a rating which can be used for your own diagnostics if desired.
In the Priority field you can enter a number to stipulate the priority this status should be given over others. This can be used in work queues to sort by status priority.
If the status is specifically for file closures, tick where indicated.
If the status is to access via an action wizard only, tick where indicated. If un-ticked, the status will be available for the operator to alter inside the Case Manager when making a note, email or using the ST shortcut.
Tick to mark for exclusion from reporting.
Click “Save” to save any changes.
Right-Click on the status group field then select “maintain” from the context menu. This will take you to the status group maintenance screen. Here you can enter an existing group and amend or delete it, or you can create a new code.
