Finding and Running Reports

DebtCol comes pre-configured with many industry standard reports. Each site can add and modify reports to their liking. This section covers how to locate existing reports and run them.

Reports & Documents > Reporting > Run Reports

This menu option allows you to run pre-defined reports.

To locate the report, select the classification it belongs to where indicated on the screen.

Locate the report in the list of report names.

When you have selected a report the Crystal Report Name, Data Source, Sort Fields and Query will be shown.

Choose the desired method of dispatch where indicated and complete any required dispatch options when prompted.

You may alter the sort rules or report query at run-time if desired. These changes will not be saved. If your changes need to be permanent then alter them in Report Definitions.

Tip: Many report queries do require you to enter information such as dates and client codes. Review the report query before running and enter any variable information into the “Criteria Value” column

IMPORTANT: Where the report is defined as a bulk email, you will not have a dispatch method to choose. Instead you will see the email message and any attachments displayed below the query. You can modify the email message here if needed. The amendments will only be applied to this run. If your changes need to be permanent then alter them in Report Definitions.

Click “Run” to dispatch the report.
