Check where client payments were applied
Reconciling a client’s accounts is made much easier by using the client payment/offset summary screen. Here you can search for client payments (or payment of invoices offset by trust receipts) then drill-down to see which invoices they have been allocated to.
Accounting > Billings > Payments & Credits > Payments Register
In this process the user can see how client payments and/or trust transfers that offset invoices have been allocated.
Enter your search criteria to locate the payment(s) in question, then click “Locate”.
A list of transactions will appear in the table. Click the transaction hyperlink to drill-down on the transaction and view how it was allocated.
